Hello Folks,
First of all, I have to say that, I fall in love with this project. It's
really helpfull and well designed. It looks like yocto or openwrt project
but working with kas and creating debian based image are really wonderfull.
Nowadays, I'm creating many recipes to install my custom app. I'm curious
about that How can we install kubernetes as a layer of the ISAR. I need to
install my kubernetes application with the helm chart. So basically, i need
to have debian bases system which is coming with pre-installed Kubernetes
and helm package.
Is it possible? If yes, How?
Many thanks in advance,
With My Best Regards,
Have a great day

Hello Onur,
There is kubernetes-client package in Debian starting from Bullseye:
https://packages.debian.org/bullseye/kubernetes-client
So it can be just added to IMAGE_PREINSTALL.

BTW there is also Helm repo for Debian available:
https://helm.baltorepo.com/stable/debian/

That is great feedback! Thanks!

I have to admit that i know these things only as buzzwords from a world
i try to stay away from. At the end of the day you want to answer the
question on how to "debian package" everything, once that is done you
start with isar which then should be trivial.
And you want to look what already is out there, like the links that
Anton posted.
My bet is that someone already did something with kubernetes and helm
on isar, so it was good to reach out. Maybe you find that someone ;).
