git.functions to improve the git users experience in your bash

Hi all,

 today, I have published this project which aims to deliver some
advanced functions for git and also a lot of smart shortcuts for the
most frequently used git commands. I hope you will like it and
possibly also contribute to its future development with your feedback.
At the moment, the project is limited to support bash. However, if
someone is interested in using it under dash, I will be happy to plan
a porting.

Please let us know when this ever takes off, but do not share all your
hobbies with us.

In my hobby time i am a fan of hg-git and suckless once had stuff on
git. If you search the web you will find hundreds of projects trying to
repair gits user interface.

Every comfortable command-line UI should be verbose enough to be
descriptive and self-explanatory and IMHO git achieved this goal very
well. However, for an intensive use - after having learned the
command-line UI - verbosity impairs productivity and there is no way
to avoid writing git in front of every command unless a functions-set
wrap layer is used. This is the point in which git-functions arrive
and aim to help those whose hands wish to be faster than their minds.

I will use this explanation as a rationale section of my project.

It is available on the 'main' branch the v0.4-rc1 for those who like to try
it.
I suggest not installing it but just try over a spendible repository, just
in case.
The README.md lists and briefly explains all the functions that wrap git.
