Hi all,

I've made my recent kernel work available under
https://github.com/siemens/isar/commits/jan/kernel-build. Will post that
once the dependencies have settled, but maybe it is already useful for
testing.

You can switch the kernel by setting the preferred provider in
local.conf. Still need to check if we can now also use multiconfigs from
different layers for that, after our recent bitbake update.

Hmpf, there are still issues with replacing the upstream package with
something we built ourselves. Namely, a Provides in the custom package
does not override the upstream meta package of the same name. Any Debian
gurus around that can explain that?

I suppose there no way around providing my own
linux-image/headers-<arch> meta package to pull the custom packages...
